Square Locking Deck Hatch - 375 x 375mm

Practical boat deck hatch available in a range of colours and sizes.

This functional deck hatch has a 180 degree hinged door, to maximise access through the hatch opening. The door is cleverly shaped to cover the mounting frame, so all fixings are hidden. The door has an easy to use twist opening handle, which tucks neatly back into its recess when not in use. The handle is conected to a simple latch mechanism on the reverse of the lid. For added security optional keyed locks can be fitted under the handles. The hinges are flush with the hatch lid to give a smooth finish. The installed hatch sits up by just 10mm once fitted.

The lid of the hatch is strong enough to walk on and has an anti-slip textured finish. It is also UV resistant so won’t be damaged by exposure to sunlight.

The benefit of these hatches is the range of colours that they are available in. You can choose the colour most appropriate to your boat’s styling. The four colours are: white; black, cream (RAL 9001) and grey (RAL7042). The hatches are also offered in five different sizes so you can mix and match sizes and colours to best suit your boat. This square hatch is 375 x 375mm.

A crucial feature of deck hatches is that water does not seep through. To prevent this from happening these hatches have a rubber seal built into the frame of the hatch.

The hatches are easy to fit, once the opening is cut simply slot the hatch into position and screw down.

These hatches are not escape hatches and so can’t be opened from the inside.
